THE DIRECTORS

David Butterfield – Managing Director and Responsible Manager


David is a Chartered Accountant and Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia. David has nearly 40 years professional Chartered Accounting experience. The focus of much of his work has been on Managed Investment Schemes and AFS Licensing. He has been the Managing Director and compliance officer of a responsible entity since 2003 and was previosuly a director of a company licensed to operate prescribed interests schemes for around 14 years. David is also RG 146 compliant in Securities, Derivatives and Generic Managed Investment Schemes from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.

Jonathan Barratt – Executive Director and Responsible Manager


Jonathan has been involved in financial markets for the last 25 years having obtained experience in the Australian, London and Hong Kong markets. He is proficient in all aspects of the Foreign Exchange/Equity and Commodities markets and was a qualified practitioner for the Securities Institute of Australia in these topics. Jonathan specialises in structured foreign exchange and commodity hedging deals.

He is a regular commentator and guest strategist on CNBC Asia Television and a variety of business media. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Economics honours degree from the University of New England. He originated the FX/bullion margin trading service at ANZ Investment Bank and was head of FX, metals and CFD's at Tricom Equities before setting up his own broking business Commodity Broking Services Pty Ltd.

Sam Cimino – Non-executive Director


Sam is a cerified practising accountant, registered tax agent and the sole director of the boutique Melbourne accounting practise known as Boss Private Clients. He has a sound knowledge of trusts and the focus of his professional work is to ensure that clients are correctly structured so that asset protection is achieved for both the business entities and the business owners. He also focuses on tax efficiency and flexibility, estate and succession planning, management and compliance.


KEY PEOPLE

Gary Stone - ShareFinder Investment Services


Gary is the Director of ShareFinder Investment Services and the developer of SPA3. He has a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science and has a love of the markets. His research of the markets started some 15 years ago when ShareFinder was born.

Since then he has developed four commercially available Mechanical Trading Systems for short, medium and long-term investors. After researching SPA3 for two years it was formally released in 1998 and entered into a 12 month trading contest in personal investor magazine. SPA3 went on to win the competition that year as well as the next two from three years. He is happy to bring his research and market experience to the CBS FM team.
